We all hate reading paragraphs of legal mumbo jumbo, but if you enter contests on Snow FM, please take the time and carefully read our basic contest rules, revised April 2, 2007.

The following stipulates Snow FM basic contest rules for all participants and applies to all contests and competitions on and off-air. In addition, a contest may have its own special restrictions/qualifications which will be publicised on-air or in writing.

1. You are ineligible to enter and/or win a contest if:

a) you are an employee or a member of the immediate family of an employee of Snow FM/any related station/Radio Snowy Mountains Pty. Ltd./or a sponsor of or associated with the contest.

b) you have won a prize(s) valued either individually or collectively of $50 or more from a Snow FM contest in the last 30 days.

c) you have won a prize(s) valued either individually or collectively of $100 or more from a Snow FM contest in the last 60 days.

d) you have won a prize(s) valued either individually or collectively of $500 or more from a Snow FM contest in the last 90 days.

e) you are discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any Snow FM contest except in the case of a legal name change.

f) you are an employee of any broadcast station in the Snowy Mountains.

g) you have been an employee of Snow FM within the last 60 days.

2. Snow FM will not be held responsible for phone malfunctions – whether a technical or human error.

3. All contest entries become the property of Snow FM. Furthermore, Snow FM may withhold any contest material which the station considers necessary to enable completion of a contest.

4. Prizes stated in on-air publicity and subsequent correspondence are not transferable nor convertible to their cash equivalent. Snow FM reserves the right to substitute prizes of greater or equal value.

5. Winners understand and agree that they are responsible to meet any/all taxes incurred on prizes once received.

6. Prizes must be collected from Snow FM (Top Floor, Snowy Mountains Plaza, Jindabyne NSW 2627) during office hours within 31 days of the prize being won. The winners must present photo identification to claim their prize. In the event of a winner choosing not to collect their prize within 31 days, they forfeit any and all claims to such a prize. An alternative will not be offered.

7. The winner agrees to release the station, it’s corporate licensee Radio Snowy Mountains Pty Ltd and affiliated companies, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any claims relating to the prize or contest prior to the acceptance of the prize. Snow FM is not responsible for any cancellations, postponements or over-bookings.

8. By entering any Snow FM contest, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by the Snow FM basic contest rules. Snow FM reserves the right to disqualify a prize winner if the prize winner has breached any/all of these rules in obtaining a prize.
